Azimio la Umoja allied Member of Parliament Hon Samuel Atanda has come out and expressed his fears that National Assembly Speaker Hon Moses Wetangula will deliver a ruling on Thursday that will favor his Kenya Kwanza coalition.
While speaking at the National Assembly buildings the Alego Usonga Constituency lawmaker said that he fears that Wetangula cannot betray his coalition by declaring that Azimio is the Majority in the National Assembly.
He added that Moses Wetangula is the leader of the Ford Kenya party, which is a member of the Kenya Kwanza coalition therefore Moses Wetangula is a principal in Kenya Kwanza. This alone will make him declare that Kenya Kwanza Alliance is the majority in the National Assembly.
"As far as the ruling is coming up tomorrow I have the view that the Speaker is going to make a partisan decision in favor of his coalition. Remember FORD Kenya is a member of Kenya Kwanza and Wetangula ia a principal of Kenya Kwanza coalition, it is not feasible that he is going to rule agaihis coalition" he said.
This comes after Moses Wetangula announced that he will deliver the ruling on Thursday. He insisted that his ruling will not be partisan. He is set to determine where parties such as MDG, Mandeleo Chap Chap, and UDM belong after abandoning Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance.
