President William Ruto who is on a two day working and development tour in the Nyanza region has released a statement mourning the death of Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry Hon Moses Kuria's Sister who died earlier today in Nairobi.
In his statement posted in his official twitter account, the president sent his deepest condolence and bereavement message to Kuria for loss and death of Pauline Nyokabi Kuria. He further asked the lord to grant the new Cabinet Secretary and his family grace and energy to bear the loss of the industrious Sister.
"Our deepest condolences to Hon Moses Kuria for the loss of your dear sister, Pauline Nyokabi Kuria. We grieve with your family and pray that the Lord grants you the grace to bear the loss." stated President William Samoei Ruto.
Moses Kuria was appointed by President William Ruto as Cabinet Secretary of Trade Investment and Industry on 27th September 2022 and was successfully vetted by the 13th Parliament of Kenya Committee on Appointments led by Speaker Moses Wetangula.
He was sworn in on 27th October 2022 replacing Betty Maina. He also served as a member of Parliament for Gatundu South from 2013. He was re-elected as an MP during the 2017 general elections to serve for a 5-year parliamentary term, running until 2022.
