Raila Odinga is one of the longest serving politicians in Kenya. In one of his inspirations, he claims that age is not a limit when chasing your dreams. The Azimio presidential candidate has been chasing a dream of leading the country for a very long time and he has shown not to give up on it.
Today he has had a political rally in Bungoma County trying to convince the citizens to vote for him. In his speech he has highlighted more on the industrial growth of the Western Region. He emphasized on building modern technology industries enough to offer jobs to the youths of the region. He went on to claim that the outgoing government didn't perform well thus the fall of the sugar industries.
"Kati Yao na Mimi nani amesomea uhandisi? Hio ni kazi yangu ya kuangalia kuwa viwanda vyote vinafanya kazi vizuri. Mimi si kama wao wanaoajiri watu was familia wasio na ujuzi wa viwanda, ndiposa vikaanguka. Nitawajengea viwanda halisia katika eneohili, " Raila said. The statement translates to, "in comparison between me and them who is more informed in engineering? That's what I'm knowledgeable at and I shall make sure that all industries are efficient. I'm not like them who hire incompetent family members to work. I'll build for you modern tech. Industries capable of providing job opportunities for the youth."
Raila is so confident that the government under him shall revive all the fallen sugar industries in the region. With his knowledge in engineering he shall make sure that the economy shall be flowing well enough to satisfy the needs of the citizens. He further explained of how his industries are coping well. He claimed to use the same knowledge to make sure the fallen facilities like the Mumias sugar company shall rise again. So the people should prioritize voting for him.
