Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has claimed that her powerful opponent, the Kirinyaga County Woman Representative, Hon. Wangui Ngirici who is eyeing to unseat her as an independent gubernatorial candidate, has secretly joined the Azimio coalition.
The United Democratic Alliance, UDA party allied Governor was speaking today after powerful David Murathe said that the coalition has two candidates in Kirinyaga, namely Ms Ngirici and Senator Charles Kibiru.
Ms Waiguru now claims that the two candidates are being sponsored by the state to giver her headache in Kirinyaga County.
Ms Waiguru said that leaders hiding in independence candidature should not shy away from declaring the party they support.
While hiting the all the Independent Candidates, Hon. Waiguru who is seeking to defend her seat as an independent Candidate said argued that governments are formed by political parties and that an independent governor would have a hard time pushing for national government projects in the county.
