BBI politics is down playing at the moment as the church leaders present say that they are not supporting the BBI document. The Bishop says that they presented their proposals to be included in the document but that did not happen. They say that they will support the deputy president in campaigning against the Building Bridges Initiative.
Aisha Jumwa who is the Master of ceremony adviced Ruto to become a preacher after becoming president as he will fit in the shoes pretty well.
The leaders who have spoken at the event have lectured the president and the ODM party leader for making the Bbi a personal project and making it about themselves.
The religious leaders both Christans and muslim have invited the deputy president to visit them again. They say that they support the deputy president because he is the only one who has put the interest of the people of Kenya above his own interests.
