Photos: Didmus Barasa Evacuates The Sick From Hospitals to Polling Stations in Last Minute Rush

In a bid to achieve maximum voter turnout in the ongoing national elections exercise, Kimilili member of parliament Didmus Barasa has gone a notch higher to mobilise ambulances to ferry voters incapacitated by different ailments to their respective polling stations before close of business.

In the well-informed scheme, photographic evidence showed Didmus Barasa pushing one of the voters on a wheelchair and wrapped with white bandages to access the poling booths.

Elsewhere, Barasa was also comforting one lady who appeared frail, signalling that she if fighting for her health.

The MP exuded confidence that he will get a second term in office and his efforts to encourage voter turnout is a step towards victory.

"Glad that my friend Rashid who is currently admitted at life care hospital has gotten an opportunity to exercise his democratic right to vote..we are aiding patients by ambulance to do the needful..... we pray for their quick recovery. We are bringing it home...." Barasa said.
