Senator Kipchumba Murkomen Today lead the team that petitioned the Jubilee party's move to expel 6 nominated senators. The 6 were because of what the party secretariat termed as their disloyalty to the party. The six senators included Isaac Mwaura who was the latest to appear before the disciplinary committee. Isaac Mwaura was penalized because of his insensitive remarks against the jubilee party leader and his recent actions in which he was seen to incite the public against ODM leader Raila Odinga.
As Millicent Omanga said yesterday, the matter is not yet over, the court was able to put to a stop an immediate expulsion from Senate pending hearings. Where the Jubilee party and Registrar of Political Parties are expected to be the respondents in the case presented before the court. The Jubilee party secretary-general Rafael Tuju made it clear that the victims had the right to appeal the party decision even though it is a surprise to see the senators appeal to be rescued even after declaring their support for the UDA party.
The six senators are seen to laugh together in the photos above lead by former majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen as they wait for the court's final decision.

02-10 12:45:56Legally you need to quit Jubilee coz you have openly supported UDA. What does the law of political parties which you passed in parliament state?. Kindly go back to parliament and amend it. Then you can appeal against the expulsion.
