"Kabogo Want Ruto to Lose Votes" What Kabogo is Allegedly Doing in Kenya Kwanza Exposed

The antagonism in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance especially in the Mount Kenya region seems to be a hard nut to crack for the Deputy President William Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua. The situation could however be of negative impact to DP Ruto's camp if a solution is not found. This comes following the infighting that have since made Kuria and Kabogo withdraw from DP Ruto's campaigns.

Nyeri County Assembly Speaker John Kaguchia who is a close ally of Mathira MP has however spoken concerning the flexing of muscles between former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo and DP Ruto's running mate Rigathi Gachagua on succession politics.

John Kaguchia has claimed that Kabogo believes he is strong politically than Gachagua. Kaguchia further claimed that William Kabogo had even said that he would allegedly make Deputy President William Ruto lose votes in Mount Kenya.

According to Kaguchia, William Kabogo is seeking to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta to be the Mount Kenya region kingpin.

“William Kabogo believes he has the political acumen compared to Rigathi Gachagua and that is why he is even claiming that he will make DP William Ruto lose votes.” John Kaguchia said.

Additionally, the political commentator Njuguna Thuita opines DP Ruto could have embraced the small parties to quell growing discontent in Kenya Kwanza. He added that small parties lacked impetus and were swallowed by Ruto’s wave.
