Today, as president Uhuru Kenyatta , Cabinet Secretary for Labour Hon Chelugui and COTU Secretary General Hon Francis Atwoli among other dignitaries were busy at statehouse celebrating Labour Day. Questions were lingering all over on the conspicuous absense of the Deputy President William Ruto.

As the search to know where he was, details have emerged from his close henchmen, on where they were busy with their 2022 strategy.
Dennis Itumbi who is Deputy President Ruto's head of communications was the first one to show photos of the DP with a number of leaders whom majority were from Mt Kenya at undisclosed location ,where he said that DP was meeting Mt Kenya Economic Block Committe Negotiation Team.
On the other Hand, Hon Kimani Ichungwa as well disclosed that they had a meeting, trying to coin an Economic Strategy as envisaged by the DP, by trying to pick some leaves from the Kibakis Economic model.
The Meeting with Mt Kenya Economic block Committe with WSR according to Ichungwah started Yesterday and will come to an end tomorrow morning.
