William Ruto who is considered as one of the people who have a very big potential of becoming the next president of Kenya is currently facing a very tough political battle of trying to keep Mount Kenya region to himself and out of reach from his political rivals.
In the recent days Raila Odinga who is Ruto's biggest political rival has been fluently visiting the region trying to win their support for the upcoming 2022 general election, Raila has achieved many things in the recent days for he has been able to win favor from the region business class who have promised to support him.
The Mount Kenya region is the region with the highest number of voters in Kenya currently for from the 2017 IEBC register the region contributes a total of one third of the total votes and that's the reason why Ruto is trying his best to keep it to himself.
