Hon Kabogo Delivers Bad News To DP Ruto & Raila Odinga About Presidential Candidacy From Mt Kenya

Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga and other Presidential candidates have been trying their best to popularise their bids in Mt Kenya after it was touted that there will be no Presidential candidate from the region in the 2022 General elections.

However, the two Presidential hopefuls who have been camping in the Mt Kenya region have received a major blow as former Kiambu County Governor Hon William Kabogo has revealed that there might be some leaders who will vie for the top seat in 2022.

Speaking on K24 digital TV on the late evening show ahead of Mashujaa Day, Hon William Kabogo revealed that he might be among the top leaders from the Mt Kenya region who will vie for Presidency, canceling the rumors that there will be no candidate from the region.

Hon William Kabogo stated: "People assume there will not be a Kikuyu or mount Kenya candidate and I don't know where that notion comes from because some of us are there and we may want to vie. #MashujaaSpecial."

However, this might not come as a major concern to either Raila Odinga, William Samoei Ruto or other aspirants as they will still work hard to get their own supporters, as well as Raila Odinga might be endorsed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

What will be the chances of Raila and Ruto to get more supporters from the Mt Kenya region if one aspirant decides to vie?
