Many questions were asked about the tasks of Musalia Mudavadi when he was made the Prime Cabinet Secretary with many terming it as a seat without portfolio. However, this is not the case since Mudavadi has time and again been given both local and international duties by the President

Good example is on Monday whereby the former Vice President travelled to London for the Commonwealth Trade and Investments Summit where he represented President William Ruto. Mudavadi was not alone but was in company of high individuals like Equity Bank CEO James Mwangi.

Amongst the things which Mudavadi discussed includes building trust among Governments and the private sector. Mudavadi also called for free trade agreement between Commonwealth countries as as to strengthen economic partnership amongst the members states
It is good to note that the Commonwealth is only made up of countries which were colonised by the British during the colonisation times.
