The country has since been battling the third wave of the Coronavirus that has struck again vigorously. It has forced measures to be put in place and protocols to be observed as stated by the President in his address to the nation.
Earlier today, two notable public figures have been confirmed as the latest victims to contract the coronavirus. This has come days after another influential political heavyweight Raila Odinga was diagnosed with covid-19.
His Party Official in charge of Communication, Director Philip Etale has been confirmed to have the virus after being in contact with Raila. He was reportedly devastated when he broke the news to the online community. He allegedly stared that he's in high spirits and will remain strong as he has his trust on God.
Renowned Musician Gilad also broke the news on social media that he's been found positive for covid-19. He had reportedly been feeling pains, aches and had developed slight fevers. He has reportedly alerted everyone who they were in close contact to take the necessary measures issued by the health ministry. He has since been isolating at his home observing quarantine protocols.
