The political unity between Luos a d the Kikuyu's has reportedly grown stronger as sources leaks details of another high profile meeting the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amollo Odinga is set to hold with Mt Kenya region leaders in Nyeri This as the names of leaders expect to grace the meeting revealed.
The STAR media publication has established that Raila Odinga, a day after being hosted by powerful mount Kenya region billionaire yesterday in Kiambu, will preside over another high-profile meeting in Nyeri County. The meeting is expected to be attended by Luo and Kikuyu councils of Elders, Kirinyaga country Governor Hon Anne Waiguru, David Murathe, Jane's Orengo, Raphael Tuju, Junet Mohammed, and others.
According to an insider privy to the meeting, the opposition chief is set to use it to reunite Luos and Kikuyus who were once powerful friends and now foes.
"Yes, it is true the opposition chief Raila Odinga has called for a meeting in Nyeri County. The meeting g is going to take place on 28th of August. Those expected to attend include powerful politicians from Mt Kenya and Luo Nyanza. Raila is going to use the meeting to mend political rude between Luos and Kikuyus, "the insider told the star.
