Raila Pledges to Seal Loopholes on 2 Billion Shillings Lost Daily

The ODM leader Raila Odinga has finally admitted to being aware of the 2 billion shillings being lost to looters on a daily basis, as ealier revealed by president Uhuru. Raila has now pledged to deal with culprits once he becomes President. 

While on his tour at his home city, Kisumu, Raila has said the theft of public resources is unacceptable for taxpayers.

"President Uhuru Kenyatta said the country loses Sh2 billion daily to corruption and theft. This is unacceptable for taxpayers who are struggling to make a living. I know the loopholes and where these corruption activities thrive and I will deal with them, " Raila has been quoted.

Speaking directly to residents of Kondele and Nyamasaria in Kisumu on Monday, Raila reiterated that his administration will not relent on ending poverty, holding onto his ksh 6,000 monthly stipend to vulnerable groups.

Despite massive criticism from different people especially his critics, Raila has vowed not to put a stop to this idea. He says he has been in government and history reveals almost all his agendas and ideas have been unstoppable.
