Today, Nakuru county was officially inaugurated into a city. The event was officiated by president Uhuru Kenyatta. Several leaders also attended including ODM party leader Raila Odinga. Nakuru county governor honourable Lee Kinyanjui was very happy that his county has finally been transformed.
Hours later, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has reacted on the same. He started by congratulating the people of Nakuru City and the County at large. That it's indeed a new dawn not only to you but also to the whole country.
He also congratulated the County Government for working tirelessly around the clock to ensure the 4th city has come forth. The real work of making Nakuru live up to its new status now begins.
He added that the infrastructural development, functioning sewer and water system etc should be priority. A working 24-hour economy should be a reality to hasten the city's development.
Congratulations Nakuru city.
