Recent meeting between President Uhuru and top coast political leaders who are Orange Democratic Movement strongholds has raised alot conversations. The absence of Raila Odinga in the meeting has continuously raised lots of talk on Twitter on whether Uhuru has a different agenda of raising another new alliance.
Ruto and Raila merging may be a strong coalition considering their historic relations. The two were once together in ODM party in 2007 election and their political strength was overwhelmingly strong to an extent that they almost won that election.
Ruto recently revealed that he is open to have conversation with the ODM party Leader Raila Odinga and he also commented that ODM shares a common agenda as the hustler movement which he chairs. Considering the fact that President Uhuru seems to have taken a back step in matters BBI and 2022 politics, Raila's interest for the top position maybe not be his priority.
