United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party leader deputy President William Ruto is scheduled to visit Kisii for three days as he seeks to counter the influence of ODM leader Raila Odinga and Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i ahead of the 2022 elections. According to reports, DP Ruto great mission to storm Kisii county has raised a lot of tension to the two leaders (Matiang'i and Raila).
Deputy president William has been conducting several meetings in Karen where he discussed several issues with UDA aspirants on how to counter the opposition leaders from certain regions. As a result of this, DP Ruto great mission in his tour to Kisii county is basically to reverse the gains which CS for Interior Dr. Fred Matiang'i has gained.
Political campaigns between ODM party leader Raila Odinga and UDA party leader deputy president William Ruto are now hitting up as 2022 general elections is nearing.
