Some families remained homeless while others had to bury their kind after painful deaths. However, the government tried to contain the situation by deploying enough security men and building houses for the homeless.
The areas experiencing bandits attacks are yet to experience what the new government has for them. According to President William Ruto, Security in such areas will be given priority to ensure the safety of Kenyans.
Speaking earlier today, Hon. Oscar Sudi, who is among the powerful UDA politician stated that bandits and their sponsors should find something else to do. He added that the current regime will not tolerate banditry in Kerio Valley or any other part of Kenya.
