Malala Receives A Stern Warning For Trying To Demand The Running Mate Position For Mudavadi

Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala has received a stern warning from his counterpart from Mumias East Hon Benjamin Washiali of trying to demand the running mate position for ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi.

Speaking during an interview with KTN News, Washiali recalled how Cleophas Malala acted the OKA coalition after demanding the presidential seat for Mudavadi which led to the downfall of the coalition. He warned him of bringing that idea to Kenya Kwanza Alliance for it may bring down the movement.

"When he was in OKA, I heard him saying that it was mandatory for their presidential candidate to be Musalia. They forced that narrative and that led to the collapse of OKA. Let him not bring that narrative to Kenya Kwanza and destroy that which we have built before they joined," the Mp added.

He however urged Malala to give time the three top leaders in Kenya Kwanza Alliance to discuss about power sharing formula to reach an amicable solution. He also said that it is better to have a quarter of the government than getting nothing.
