Outgoing Tourism and Wildlife CS Najib Balala has decided to leave office in style by jotting down a warm welcome message to Peninah Malonza, who has been appointed as the new boss in a docket he has held for over 6 years.
Taking to Twitter, Balala took his followers to memory lane, stating that it had been an honor to serve the country for 24years adding that he started off as Mombasa Mayor back in 1998.
He further welcomed Peninah Malonza as the new CS for Tourism, Wildlife & Heritage.
“I'm honoured to have served my country for the past 24 years since being Mombasa Mayor, in 1998, to serving as the CS in the Ministry of Tourism… I welcome the appointment of Peninah Malonza as the new CS for Tourism, Wildlife & Heritage. You have my full support,” Balala tweeted.
The CS went on to congratulate President Ruto for unveiling a new cabinet.
“Congratulations to President Dr. @WilliamsRuto on unveiling your New Cabinet Team. I am honoured to have served my country for the past 24 years,” Balala wrote.
Malonza is the former Kitui County Deputy Governor.
