Yesterday in the evening, the former speaker of the national assembly, hon Justin Muturi arrived at his new office after his vetting by the members of parliament. As seen from the photos that were shared by the Kenyans.co.ke, hon Muturi arrived at Sheria house in the evening hours where he familiarized himself with the attorney general's office which he will be occupying in the next few days.
Hon Muturi who was among the Kenya Kwanza principals was appointed by president William Ruto the attorney general where he will be taking over from Paul Kihara. Mr Muturi who is a lawyer by proffesion will be playing many roles and among them is being a legal advisor to the president. He will also be attending cabinet meetings.
Today, a total of 5 cabinet nominees will be vetted by the members of parliament. The first one is hon Kipchumba who will be the minister of roads, second one is hon Soipan Tuiya who will be the minister of Environment. Others are; Susan Wafula for health, Penina Malonzo of Tourism and finally Zechariah Njeru of lands.
