Politicians are scheming on they will ascend to power in 2022 general election. To achieve their political ambitions, they have to woo electorates to their ideologies. This is why they are busy holding political meetings almost daily. The second in command is eying for the presidency. He has assembled necessary resources that are crucial for his presidential race. To attract more youths and jobless people, he has promised to implement bottom-up economic model. According to him, the model will focus on the jobless people.
On the other hand, the former Prime Minister Honourable Raila Odinga has said that he will use trickles down economic model if elected as the president in 2022. He is planning to do this by strengthening devolution and good governorship. These two leaders are trying to outsmart each other using any available opportunities.
However, according to Lawyer Ben Kinuthia, Kenya does not need any new economic model. He said that Kenya has a good model but the problem is the poor leadership. In addition, he said that Kenyans needs good stewardship that will ensure all corrupt individuals are not given any State jobs or are not near power.
