Raila Odinga's running mate, Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Martha Karua, has unquestionably been a tremendous success in the camp, with the Narc-Kenya party leader adding much-needed fresh ideas to Raila's campaign to build government.
The battle to successor President Uhuru Kenyatta, however, will not be easy, with the former Prime Minister expected to face up against the Kenya Kwanza alliance, led by Deputy President William Ruto.
With rumours that the two may meet for a major political rally, the former Gichugu Member of Parliament is continuing her charm assault in the vote-rich Mt Kenya region.
Martha Karua is currently attending the Woman's Guide centenary festivities at the PCEA Church of Torch Thogoto Kikuyu, accompanied by top leaders, before hitting the ground running.
