Today, the three politicians including Honorable Millicent Omanga, Mike Mbuvi Sonko and Anne Kananu attended an initiation ceremony in Tharaka Nithi County.
The initiation ceremony was for the son of the former governor of Nairobi county Ms. Anne Kananu. Governor Anne Kananu took over as the governor of Nairobi after Mike Mbuvi Sonko was impeached due to some special reasons.
The ceremony was held at Ms. Anne Kananu's home. Initiation are always held in some communities in Kenya to act as rite of passage in life. During the ceremony, young adults are taught the culture of her or his community. He or she is transformed from being asocial to social in the society.
After the ceremony was over, Hon. Mike Mbuvi Sonko, Ms. Anne Kananu and Hon. Millicent Omanga posed for a photo session. The three politicians also took selfies together.
