The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has undoubtedly grown so fast and attracted a large following with it's members referring themselves to as 'hustlers'. The group which is largely composed of members who defected from the Jubilee party is led by the Deputy President William Ruto.
The party has vocal leaders including among others Kiharu member of parliament Ndindi Nyoro, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa, Kimani Ngunjiri, former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale and former cabinet secretary Rashid Echesa.
Former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale who has been UDA's talisman in the western Kenya has revealed the man who will contest for the Nairobi senatorial seat in 2022 on the UDA candidature. Through his official Twitter account, Khalwale said Milton Lucheri will contest for the Nairobi senatorial seat for UDA.
Bonny Khalwale who is also aiming the Kakamega gubernatorial seat with the UDA candidature has said Mr Lucheri is a good political student.
Khalwale has been actively involved in UDA's affairs, traveling and campaigning for UDA candidates in the by-elections that have been held recently.
