Listening to the Ground? Sakaja Latest Comments Sparks Reaction About His Political Future -VIDEO

Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja on Wednesday toured Dandora together with other lawmakers on the monitoring and evaluation exercise of Dandora Stadium.

He was accompanied by Nominated Senator Hon Milicent Omanga who is vying for the Nairobi Women Representative position through the United Democratic Alliance, UDA party.

After the monitoring exercise, Johnson Sakaja took to the streets of Dandora where he interacted with residents. While addressing a rally, Senator Sakaja asked residents not to forget him in the forth coming general elections.

He said he will continue walking with Dandora residents in his political career. In a video that has gone viral, Jonson Sakaja was seen asking Dandora residents which position he should run next year, they told him the Governor seat, he then asked which party he should vie with, they told him UDA.

"Mahali tumefika mtaniwacha au mtasimama na mimi? he asked. "Kiti gani, Chama gani? Sakaja asked as residents answered him with Governor and UDA respectively.

Sakaja was elected as Nairobi Senator through Jubilee ticket after defeating ODMs Edwin Sifuna. He is eyeing the Nairobi Gunernatotial seat.

It is not clear whether he will remain in Jubilee or he will decamp to another political party. Should he join UDA he will battle it out with Bishop Margaret Wanjiru for a UDA ticket.
