President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party, has made a major announcement over membership registration and grassroots elections.
In a statement posted on the party's official social media pages and signed by the party's secretary-general nominated senator Veronica Maina, the party is currently preparing for the grassroots elections.
According to Madam Veronica Maina, the grassroots elections will be held in all the 47 counties within the country. However, she noted that only registered United Democratic Alliance party members will take part in this exercise.
"The UDA party is preparing for grassroots elections which will be conducted at polling centres across the forty Seven counties" read part of the statement by the United Democratic Alliance party secretary-general Veronica Maina.
"Only Bonifide and registered UDA party members will be eligible either to vote or during the grassroots elections or to be elected the party officials" the secretary-general added.

Following this, the party has announced that it will embark on mass voters registration and those willing to participate on these elections are advised to register as the party members.
The party will begin the membership registration drive on 1st March 2023 and the exercise will run through the while month of March and April. The last date of registration will be on the 30th of April 2023.
The part which was formed after the fallout in former ruling Jubilee party has proven to be steadily growing after managing to get the highest number of the members of Parliament in Parliament. The biggest achievement of the party is being able to produce the fifth president of Kenya Wiliam Ruto.
