As a means of rescuing the locals who are struggling with hunger, President Ruto's government delivered emergency food supplies to Siaya County on Sunday.
ICT CS Eliud Owalo distributed the food aid on behalf of the President. The CS pointed out that the county's vulnerable and underprivileged residents are the primary targets of the government.
"This morning, I have flagged off the distribution of relief food to the residents of Siaya at the Awelo Open Air Grounds in Siaya Town on behalf of H.E. the President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto."
He stated, "The distribution will focus on the vulnerable and disadvantaged who are most affected by the drought situation."
This follows the CS's similar action on Saturday in Migori County.
Suba South MP Caroli Omondi, former Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo, former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, former Governor Jack Ranguma, UDA regional coordinator Dianga Waore, Siaya County Commissioner Jim Njoka, and other local leaders performed the CS during the exercise.
In light of their most recent disagreement, Ruto is distributing food to Raila's political bedroom. They have been chatting at events and on social media. Additionally, Raila is planning nationwide protests against the government's decision to fire four IEBC commissioners.
