Raila's call for a one million dinner fundraiser at Kempinsky Sparks heated debate among the youth.

As the electioneering period draws closer, different camps are putting their houses in order with view of emerging winners from what is predicted to be hotly contested political duel.

However, enough and sustainable financial muscles should be accumulated considering the fact that political campaign bills are expensive to foot. As such, fundraising becomes inevitable.

That being said, the Embakasi North Parliamentarian, Hon Babu Owino has urged the youth to turn out in large numbers and grace the one million fundraiser occasion at the Villa Rosa Kempinski hotel.

The member of parliament has pointed out that the money which will be raised at the function is solely for funding Raila's campaign and his political ambition of occupying the state house later next year.

This seems not to have been well consumed by different Kenyans. A section has questioned the double standard of the Azimio la Umoja brigade which believe that the youth are jobless and broke yet it's inviting the same youth to raise one million each.

Later this month, Raila is set to publicly declare if he will be vying for the presidency or not. Should he confirm to being on the ballot, he will have to face off with his long time political rival the Deputy president Dr William Ruto.
