Speaker Wetangula Goes On A First Foreign Trip Since Being Elected

Recent weeks saw the election of Hon Moses Wetangula to the position of speaker of the national assembly. Having backed President William Ruto in the general election of 2022 was the cause of this. Wetangula and Mudavadi joined forces to lobby the Western bloc on behalf of Ruto's candidacy.

Wetangula has never traveled outside of his country since securing the top seat. In parliament, he had been keeping himself busy by focusing on national issues and giving his all to the country.

Speaker Wetangula is now away from the nation, according to reports from reputable sources. On Thursday evening, he traveled abroad for the first time.

Wetangula flew into Juba, South Sudan, to attend the inter-parliamentary competition for East Africa.
