Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga's planned demonstrations are continuing to trigger a series of mixed reactions.

Nandi County Senator Samson Cherargei has alleged a plot by Raila to force a handshake with President William Ruto.
Cherargei has claimed that the planned demos are a plot by Raila to force a handshake with Ruto so as to have a grand coalition government.
He has however said that there will be no handshake between President Ruto and the opposition leader.

"The Tinga/ Azimio-OKA planned Maandamo is a ploy for a forced handshake / Nusu mkate government with H.E RUTO government this SHALL NOT happen!.Kazi Ni kazi.," Senator Samson Cherargei said.
Cherargei's claims come ahead of Azimio's major rally at Kamukunji Grounds in Nairobi to seek public opinion on the move to oust 4 Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Commisioners over alleged misconduct in the August 9th polls.
