Former legislature and political strategist honourable Kabando Wa Kabando makes response to Ruto's statement on fuel and electricity hiked prices.

According to Kabando Wa Kabando, Ruto's diehard, Kimani Ichung'wah, reported that KPLC, NSE, and IPPs were the cartel siphoning the sector forcing the prices of fuel and electricity to shoot higher.

Kabando said, "@WilliamsRuto says cartels in the Petroleum/Energy sector specifically @KenyaPower are cause of crazy fuel & electricity costs and must be dismantled. DP's confidant @KIMANIICHUNGWAH cites #StateCapture KPLC ( NSE-listed) + IPPs 'milking' it. Whatever the motive, this is DARING!"

On the different allegations, it has emerged that some cartels in the IT Department were dishing units at a draw away price.

According to Gabriel Oguda, cartels in Kenya power receive Ksh. 2,500 in exchange for more than 1,200 units that have forced the prices of electricity to hike higher than expected.
