Looming Headache For Kenya Kwanza Government as Azimio Plots This Major Move To Make Raila Powerful

The political muscles continue ravaging the country and Kenyans are eagerly waiting to see what will happen to Hustler fund defaulters. Kenyans have been woken up by news that there is a push to amend the constitution in order to accommodate opposition. There was a lot if noise when UDA wavered to increase presidential term limit. According to this morning news,

The push to have the office of the official opposition leader Hon. Raila Odinga could see the Constitution amended to embed a powerful office that will keep the government in check. The office to be occupied by Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga, sweeping powers, including an annual address to Parliament, leeway to nominate persons to constitutional statutory commissions as well as funding from the Exchequer to ensure constant oversight of government is causing heated debate among Kenyans.

The Bill, drafted by a technical committee of the coalition and dubbed the Constitution of Kenya amendment Bill, could see the law revised through a parliamentary initiative to create the office of the official opposition leader and their deputy. Hon Raila Odinga is the opposition leader at the moment we don't know if Kalonzo Musyoka will be the deputy or Martha Karua if they manage to amend the constitution.
