Dp Ruto Shows Raila Dust In Migori County In Two Costituencies By Garnering 65.13% Of Votes

Migori County is known to be Raila Odinga's stronghold for the past years considering the trend on how the residents vote as a block, it is somehow different in this 2022 polls after Ruto pulled an abnormal comeback in two costituencies in Migori County where he garnered majority of votes compared to Raila Odinga.

According to the latest costituency presidential results in Kuria West and Kuria East Ruto received a total of 65.13% of votes compared to Raila's 34.17% if votes. Ruto's UDA also won the parliamentary seats of the two costituencies as the candidates floored the ODM counterparts.

In the results, Ruto polled 29,212 votes in Kuria West as Raila got 12,106 votes, in Kuria West, Ruto got 16,795 votes while Raila got 12,031 votes which was a huge boost compared to previous years.

Marwa Kitayama also emerged the winner in Kuria East as Mathia Robi also won in Kuria West both from the UDA party which is a great boost in the battle for National Assembly lawmakers.
