While speaking at K24 TV on Tuesday night, former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has warned President Uhuru Kenyatta over forcing a presidential candidate on them. According to William Kabogo, the people of Mt Kenya have their own brains and they know who they want to lead them. The former County Chief went ahead to say that President Uhuru has one vote.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta can only day what he thinks or who he imagines would be the best leader to Succeed him but it's good to remember that the resident has one vote. He would say " according to my opinion" this is the best person to lead you. I'm sure the president is a wise person and knows what he's doing. We the people of the mountain have our own brains. There is no vacuum of minds or awareness. Just because the president is from the region and has a person he's endorsing it does not mean we don't know where we want to go," said governor William Kabogo.
