IEBC Suspends The Tallying Of Votes In Juja Constituency By-Elections After Chaos Erupted.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) have suspended the Tallying of votes in Juja Constituency By-Elections which was hotly constested and this was after chaos erupted in the tallying center in Mangu High School.
The IEBC stated that the process was disrupted by individuals led by Kiambu Governor James Nyoro and added that the act of hooliganism made it impossible for the Tallying to continue.
The commission further stated that they suspended the Tallying and announcement of the results untill normally is fully restored.
The commision added that the election materials are well secured and they even regretted the development's as maintenance of law and order during elections is not their mandate.
