Deputy President William Ruto has been regarded by many as a front runner in the 2022 presidential race. The DP has since been traversing the country in attempts to popularise his bid. Today, he visited Busia county to empower the youth, small scale traders and what he refers to as the "hustlers."
The deputy president was also accompanied by a host of elected leaders and aspirant who are inclined to his new party, the United Democratic Alliance. The DP took to his twitter handle and tweeted the host of leaders who accompanied him.
The DP also noted that he was in the company of former MP Mary Emase and Susan Mang'eni who is the Busia county Women representative aspirant for the party.
