Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader and presidential hopeful Raila Odinga landed in Taita County in the afternoon hours. He was received by a number of leaders from the larger Coast region led by Taita Taveta Governor Granton Samboja and Senator Johannes Mwaruma. Kissi Governor James Ongwae who is an ardent supporter was also present.
Raila Odinga did a lot of things in the county including launching a number of development projects and popularizing both his presidential bid and the Azimio La Umoja idea which is centered at encouraging Kenyans to rally their support behind him.
Raila and his entire Azimio La Umoja team will pitch camp in Thika Constituency, Kiambu County tomorrow where he will officially launch his presidential campaigns. A lot of people and political leaders are expected to be present.
