PHOTOS: Raila Sends a Message to Residents of Embu After a Hard Time in Runyenjes, Kenyans React

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Tuesday evening faced a hard time in Runyenjes, Embu County, after he made a stopover to address residents on his Azimio la Umoja bid.

Crowds in Runyenjes got out of control and chanted Pro Deputy President William Ruto slogans despite pleas by Governor Martin Wambora to them to allow Raila address them.

The Former Premier has sent a message to residents of Embu after having the hard time addressing residents of Runyenjes on Tuesday evening.

In his message, Raila has sent his gratitude to residents of Embu stating that if there was ever a time to build a Movement called Kenya, it is now.

"My people of Riverland, Kariaine, Nkubu, Chuka University, Chuka town, Runyenjes and Embu Asante!. If there was ever a time to build a Movement called KENYA, it is now. A responsive, united Nation is possible. #Onelove #Inawezekana," ODM Party leader Raila Odinga said.
