Dr. William Samoei Ruto, the Deputy President, visited Kiambu County on Monday and attended an economic forum meeting. When the Kenya Kwanza coalition wins the August 9th elections, DP Ruto will use the opportunity to listen to the demands of Kiambu county inhabitants.DP Ruto attacked his opponents during his speech, accusing them of significant corruption allegations since joining the administration. When asked about Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga, DP Ruto asked when the KEMSA scam perpetrators will be sentenced.Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was also attacked by DP Ruto, who said the experienced politician should come clean and explain how he will fight corruption if he wins the forthcoming elections. Raila is merely feeding Kenyans lies, according to Ruto, without specifying how he will battle corruption.
Ruto agreed with Raila Odinga that administration requires integrity, but the United Democratic Alliance leader accused Mr. Odinga of shortchanging his fellow leaders in Azimio. Raila, according to Ruto, lacks integrity because he cheated former NASA officials, Mutua and Azimio, as well as the Jubilee government. He urged Kiambu locals to rally behind him, claiming that the Kenya Kwanza government would be able to battle corruption and improve the lives of residents from the ground up.
