President William Ruto has been warned by Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of the Wiper Democratic Movement Party and a senior member of Kenya's Azimio-One coalition party, that any disrespectful actions he takes toward the late President Uhuru Kenyatta may be used against him (Ruto) in the near future.
Speaking to the media on Friday, he asserted that Kenyans have certainly erred in the just concluded 2022 general election as seen by President Ruto's choice to make fun of the outgoing leader during his statement in Parliament yesterday.
He continued by saying that Ruto might be in peril and that Uhuru is actively campaigning to remain. Ruto must respect his leaders, according to Kalonzo, if he is to succeed as head of state.
Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka "If I were President William Ruto, I'd advise showing a little courtesy to the gentleman who transferred authority in accordance with the constitution's rules. Congratulations are due to Uhuru Kenyatta for his orderly transfer of power."
