11 governors in Karen
Deputy President on Sunday morning met eleven governors who are allied to him and who are keen on supporting him for his bid. The team was led by Ann Waiguru who recently defected from Jubilee and found a comfortable shelter in the Ruto led team of UDA.
Also present was ODM Governor Who also bi's farewell to Raila's party and joined Ruto and his UDA battalion in campaigning for him. Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki to was also present in the said meeting which is aimed at popularising Ruto in their respective counties ahead of the August polls.
The said meeting coming just days after Raila to hosted several governors who are allied to his bid of 2022. The two main contenders are keen on ensuring that their supporters and leaders get to vote them as president of Kenya in the polls expected in August of this year.
