The cordial relationship between Raila and Uhuru seems to be one-sided after ODM claims that their partners from Jubilee are playing dirty politics. This is after a section of their allies and agents were harassed in Kisii in the wake of the Bonchari by-elections.
The party is now threatening to disassociate itself with the ruling party if they cannot accommodate competition emanating from an election. According to Sifuna, the police are being used by Jubilee to harass and give them a hard time as they focus on delivering the seat to ODM.
These latest utterances now forming the basis of an online discussion, with ODM supporters quick to urge the party to cut ties with the Jubilee party. However, this could be mare rhetoric’s especially now that the two parties are enjoined in an appeal of the high court that stopped the implementation of the BBI document in the country. Are you in support of a split between the two parties?
