We Are Going to The Opposition in 2022, Ruto Allied Rift Valley MP Allays Her Fears

Weeks after rubbishing reports of shifting allegiance to Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and confirming she is still firmly in Ruto's hustler camp, Bomet County Woman Representative Joyce Korir has yet again poured cold water on Ruto's 2022 presidential ambitions.

Taking to her official Facebook page on Friday afternoon, Joyce allayed fears that the Rift Valley region and more so the Kalenjin community risks loosing the presidency and going to the opposition in 2022, should things remain as it is now.

The woman rep claimed that no one in Kenya has ever contested presidency for the first time and successfully win. She took issues with the current supremacy battles between Kanu's Gideon Moi and DP William Ruto, saying that will cost the community a chance to clinch the seat.

"We are going to the opposition because the chances of us clinching the presidency is so minimal," stated Joyce.

Hewr remarks, however, attracted a lot of backlash from most users, who came out to attack her. While many rubbished her remarks and terming her a BBI puppet, others welcomed her remarks, saying even if they are taken to opposition, they will feel no itch, since they have been in the same situation since 2017.
