Ngunjiri Wambugu Concedes Defeat In The Just Concluded By-elections, Reveals Why Jubilee Lost

Nyeri town constituency member of parliament Hon. Ngunjiri Wambugu has conceded defeat in the just concluded Juja by-elections where Jubilee party lost to People's Empowerment party, a party led by the Gatundu South constituency member of parliament Hon. Moses Kuria.

"Congratulations to Koimburi for taking the Juja Mp seat from Jubilee. Congratulations to Moses Kuria too for leading your team to a well-fought victory. Very well played." Reads part of Wambugu's statement.

The vocal member of parliament further stated that they made a mistake in Rurie and Juja and that is why they lost the two seats. "Our team has lost this battle. We made mistakes. In Juja and in Rurie. And at various stages of these by-election process. Our rivals took advantage of these mistakes. It will not happen again." He stated.

He has however, promised that they will never repeat the mistake. "Lessons learnt. Today is our day to be humble. And TangaTanga’s day Kujipiga Kifua (chest thumping). Well deserved. Onwards. To the next battle."

Juja parliamentary Rurie ward by-elections was a tight race between the Jubilee party and Hustlers nation, the later managed to get all the seat, in another tight competition, the Orange Democratic Movement party managed to emerge victorious in the Bonchari parliamentary by-elections.
