Raila Odinga Reveals He Keenly Listened To DP Ruto When Reading His Long Manifesto During Launch

Raila Odinga has today talked about the Kenya Kwanza manifesto that was launched on Thursday at Kasarani.

Deputy President William Ruto led his Kenya Kwanza flock in launching the manifesto after a long wait.

Raila Odinga has reacted by saying DP Ruto's manifesto did not touch on Kenya's major problems like corruption.

He revealed that he was keenly listening and watching from television while DP Ruto was reading the manifesto.

However, he was so disappointed that DP Ruto did not talk about corruption.

According to Raila, he keenly followed the unveiling of the manifesto and listened to every bit of DP Ruto's speech, but he did not hear a single word on corruption.

"'Mliona jana majamaa wali launch manifesto yao..sikusikia hata neno moja ya ufisadi na hio ndio shida zaidi, anasema vile ataongeza mishahara mambo ya uchumi lakini ufisadi haongei na tunajua ni kwa nini," Raila said, which loosely translates to

(You saw yesterday that the Kenya Kwanza team launched their manifesto...I did not hear a single word of corruption yet is the biggest problem in Kenya, he talked about how he will increase salaries and economic matters but he did not talk about corruption, and we know why)
