General elections in Kenya are always scheduled at the interval of five years on the second Tuesday, August of the election year thus Kenya is set to have general elections on 9th August 2022. Various candidates will be fronting to be elected as the president, governors, senators, women representatives, members of parliament and members of county assemblies.
As the election period draw near, here are government officials who will easily win elections of the level lesser than that of presidency;
He is the cabinet secretary for interior and national government coordination and he is referred to as super cabinet secretary, this is as a result of his strictness that first saw him eliminate cheating in national examinations during his first year in the ministry of education making him to win president's attention to give him the powerful docket that he holds currently. Matiang'i has won the trust of many Kenyans and he can easily get election.
2. Peter Munya
He is the cabinet secretary for Agriculture and he aspires to be the governor for Meru county, he also has a better working history in the ministry and therefore he can get election.
3. Mutahi Kagwe
The cabinet secretary for health has been outstanding in the fight against corruption and has gained popularity that can earn him an elective seat, he was the senator for Nyeri before he was appointed as the cabinet secretary.
