Right from Murang'a town all the way to Ihura stadium, police officers could be seen guarding and keeping security Tight in the area.
This follows claims that several people were trying to disrupt the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga's event.
Police officers have assured the residents that they should not be worried saying that all those who will attend the meeting will be safe since the senior police officers were on the ground to keep security Tight.
MPs Peter Kimari (Mathioya) and Nduati Ngugi (Gatanga) have however, assured attendants that sufficient security will be provided and urged those with such plans not to be misused by politicians.
On the other hand, DP William Ruto will be in Kirinyaga county where he is set to continue marketing his new found partnership with Amani National Congress (ANC) boss Musalia Mudavadi.
Ruto will hold a rally at Thiba Grounds in Kirinyaga alongside his Kenya Kwanza coalition counterparts; Moses Wetangula and Mudavadi.
