The president Uhuru Kenyatta has assured a peaceful election period as we head towards the general polls. During the commissioning of the Uhuru Sports Complex today the president send a message to the IEBC to overlook onto the issues of parties nominations that is creating major divisions and anxieties in different parts of the country thus undermining peace.
He also told the NCIC to continue advocating for peaceful campaigns by stopping the use of words that might cause incitements. He told the kenyans to maintain peace as the government is working hard to provide a good environment that will create Harmony during this election time.
Uhuru Kenyatta sent a warning to all politicians that they must use the language that promotes unity and anybody who will be found using inciting words will face the wrath of the law no matter your capacity in the government. Hon. Kenyatta advocated for a peaceful nation.
